You'll get the most out of your membership if you invest time into helping Chapter committees stay active and innovative. Our committees implement the strategic plan for the Chapter. From programs to publications to legislative activity, committee members provide the strength that enables the Chapter to meet the needs of its member communities in our area.

WSCAI's COMMITTEES
CA Day Committee: Assists in development and management of the Conference & Tradeshow including educational line-up, recruiting exhibitors and sponsors, and promotion of the event.
Communications Committee: Newsletter: Responsible for the planning and development of content for the Chapter's bi-monthly magazine - Community Association Journal. The committee identifies topics and appropriate content and identifies and recruits appropriate authors and contributors.
Survey: Responsible for assisting in the development of a membership survey.
Website: Responsible for monitoring, identifying and developing resource material to maintain on the Chapter's web site. In addition, identifies other trends in technology to increase awareness of the Chapter's services, programs and activities.
Education Committee: Assists in development, promotion and presentation of 1/2-day Saturday Seminars, ABC's - A Basic Course for Association Leaders, Advanced ABC's and Managers Only Meetings.
Legislative Action Committee: Responsible for identifying legislative issues of importance to common interest communities in Washington State. Monitors legislation and helps the Chapter set specific issue priorities.
Managers Only Meetings Committee: Responsible for the development, promotion, and presentation of Managers Only Meetings. A member of the Committee also participates on the Education Committee.
Membership Committee: Recruitment, retention and outreach.
Social Committee: Identifies and assists in coordinating and promoting special events for the Chapter. Activities include Annual Bowling Tournament, Annual Golf Tournament and Day at Safeco Field to cheer on the Seattle Mariners. Mission Statement: To create and host interactive social events for members and vendors that support growth and awareness of WSCAI.
Web Broadcasting Committee: Responsible for assisting in the implementation of online courses for the Chapter. |
