General Manager at Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue

Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue, a luxury high rise condominium in downtown Seattle next to Pike Place Market, seeks a General Manager (GM) to manage all operational aspects of the Association.

Responsibilities: The GM carries out the day-to-day operations of the building independently, supervises a staff of ten, and oversees a $4m annual budget. Among the many responsibilities, the GM reports to the Board of Directors and works with the Board Members on all matters related to the Association. The position is also the “face” of 1521, maintaining high quality relationships with owners, tenants, guests, staff, outside professionals, and others.

Requirements:

· Minimum of five to seven years relevant management experience, including managing complex building systems, staff supervision, vendor supervision and working with volunteer Boards of Directors.

· Thorough grasp of the operations of a condominium association.

· Clear, empathetic and effective communications abilities, both oral and written.

· High level of skill in maintaining positive relationships with a variety of people (owners, residents, public, staff, contractors and service providers).

· Superior leadership, training and supervision abilities.

· Superior decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills.

· Computer literacy.

· College degree or equivalent.

Compensation

· Starting salary of $130,000-160,000 per year, depending on experience
