Professional Bio
Jamie Lotta joins Charles Schwab as a VP - Financial Consultant. Originally from California, Jamie worked several years with Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management – San Francisco. She brings over two decades of experience in private business, brokerage and investor relations.
After graduating Loyola Marymount University – Hilton School of Business, Jamie began her career at two Los Angeles-based hedge funds, Coast Asset Management and with the high-yield bond specialists at Post Advisory Group. Her concentration was on delivering performance reporting and market news to a wide array of investors, including foreign family offices, several state plans and university endowments, helping them accomplish account development goals which ranged from meeting their philanthropic donation schedules to participating in the fundamental conversations around wealth transition to our future generations.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Jamie served four years as a broker within San Francisco's start-up community facilitating private equity transactions between start-up founders and institutional investors. Brokerage allowed Jamie to assist a diverse set of ultra-high net worth individuals by securing funding to achieve their life goals, including buying a first home, vacation properties or sending their children to college. She welcomes this new opportunity to service a broad spectrum of Board and HOA needs and to partner with you in achieving your financial milestones.
Jamie is an enthusiast and advocate for the arts community. She is a standing member of the Seattle Art Museum (SAM), Seattle Art Museum Supporters (SAMS), San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and has served on the Advisory Council for ArtPoint, enhancing funding and youth engagement for the de Young Museum of San Francisco. In her free time, she especially enjoys rowing or sailing. She looks forward to enjoying her new home state of Washington and is joined here by her husband and three children.
