What is WUCIOA?

The Washington Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act (WUCIOA) standardizes how community associations operate across Washington State. It addresses governing documents, budgets, reserve funding, meetings, voting, and homeowners’ rights.

Existing associations may need to review and update their governing documents to align with WUCIOA requirements.

WSCAI provides education and tools to make this transition manageable.
