Strategic Event Planning for Community Building & Increased Engagement
Events are more than dates on a calendar—they’re engines for trust, belonging, and momentum. In this interactive panel, leaders who build high-participation programs will share how they design events that strengthen community ties and convert momentary excitement into year-round engagement.
We’ll unpack:
-
Purpose-first design: aligning event outcomes with mission, member needs, and growth goals.
-
Audience strategy: welcoming newcomers, re-engaging lapsed participants, and activating champions.
-
Program formats that work: mixers with intention, roundtables, micro-events, and hybrid touchpoints.
-
Inclusive experiences: accessibility, price sensitivity, and culturally aware choices that broaden reach.
-
Sponsor & partner value: co-creating activities that feel authentic (and not just transactional).
-
Measurement & follow-through: simple KPIs, feedback loops, and post-event actions that keep people coming back.
You’ll leave with plug-and-play planning templates, a checklist for engagement before/during/after, and fresh ideas you can scale across neighborhoods
