What are micro-aggressions and how do we identify them? Learn general practice tips and how to apply them to fact patterns. Participants will break out into groups for a facilitated discussion with fact patterns. Participants will be sent to private breakout rooms (3-5 people per group) with questions and instructions and the speaker will join the groups to facilitate the discussion.
This course is approved by Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB) to fulfill continuing education requirements for the CMCA® certification.
Presenter:
Esther Park became Court Program Manager at the Dispute Resolution Center of King County (“KCDRC”) in August 2023. Prior to starting this role, she mediated regularly in small claims court and trained other mediators for over 5 years. Before that, she spent 12 years at the University of Washington School of Law working with students in various capacities including teaching Negotiation and in the Mediation Clinic, directing the Externship Program, and managing Career Services. Esther previously practiced law in New York and Washington states, in civil and criminal cases, in the public and private sectors. Esther was a licensed pharmacist before entering law practice. |
